Tag Heuer Link Watches from LSMwatch.com

The Link series was first debuted in 1987 as the S/el series and was renamed the Link Series in 1999 in honor of its very distinctive bracelet. The bracelet of the Link watch made up of two “S”-shaped links sit more comfortably on the wrist than traditional "brick-style" links. The Link watch is one of the two models that debuted after the Heuer company was acquired by the Techniques d'Avant Garde or TAG group in 1985, and the Tag Heuer company was created. While the dial of the Link watch from Tag Heuer remain very similar to the original S/el watch, the case of the Link has been significantly softened into a curvier shape. The upgraded finishing of the stainless steel case features a combination of polished and brushed steel. The rounded case provides contrast to the newly designed bezel of the watch, divided into a thin cushion shaped bezel, with squared edges and a circular bezel. While early S/el watches featured an integrated case and bracelet, the later series of Link watches were designed with a more traditional open lugs allowing for a leather strap to be easily be fitted to the Link watch though there is no official leather strap option for the watch. The Link Calibre S series features the largest case of any Link watch at 43mm while the dial of the watch is a subtle evolution of earlier models featuring slightly larger hour-markers and the now-trademark TAG Heuer vertically streaked dial. The Calibre 6 Link features the smallest case of any Link watch from Tag Heuer at only 40mm featuring a smaller crown and more angled inner bezel. The Calibre 5 Link is very similar to the Calibre 6 but with a slightly larger case and a feature that includes both the day and the date on the dial of the watch. The Link Quartz is the most current revision made to the Link family highlighting a 40mm case, one piece bezel, and an overall thinner design. The Link series feature watches with or without chronograph functions and are available with either automatic, quartz or an electromechanical movement. The watch featured either men's or ladies options with some of the watches adorned with diamonds and mother-of-pearl embellishments in the dial and bezel creating an exotic fashionable style. The Link collection of watches from Tag Heuer perfectly combines a charismatic and sporty feel with a designer look.
