The Marine soldier has long been an elite symbol of strength and perseverance; few are able to wear the distinctive title and bear the pretentiousness which the rank symbolizes, and because of what being a Marine represents Bell & Ross have chosen to honor the sacrifice of this world-class unit of highly skilled warriors with a dive watch showcasing the Marine name: The BR Marine Collection. The BR Marine watch is a pure diving watch with unique features that differentiate this watch from all others in the field such as a tonneau-shaped case distinctive of the Marine watch collection, that is heavier and chunkier than the case of most other dive watches. Though this line of Marine watches is distinctive in function form all other collections in the Bell & Ross watch family. The dial of the Marine watch still bears a strong resemblance to dials of Aviation inspired Bell & Ross watches from other watch collections. The heavy black rubber strap offers both functionality and durability adding the essence of masculinity to the design of the Marine watch. The over-sized hands are luminous at any depth often featuring bright colors such as blue, orange, or white with matching color index markers along the Stainless Steel Dial, encompassed by a Unidirectional Interior Bezel that consists of PVD-Finished Stainless Steel. The case of the watch can feature either PVD-Finished Stainless Steel, 18K Rose Gold, Yellow Gold or White Gold or combinations of materials such as 18K Rose Gold and Carbon Fiber. The Marine watch line offers both Chronograph and Automatic movement with the Chronograph version of the Marine watch featuring Arabic numerals only at the 12 and 6 o'clock hour markers of the dial in order to make room for the Chronograph function and the date feature found on the dial while the dial of the Automatic Marine watch features Arabic numerals of the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock markers with a small date function near the bottom of the black stainless steel or Black Carbon Fiber Index dial. The chronograph function on the Marine watch allows the user to measure both dive and decompression times of up to 500 meters. The BR Marine Chronograph watch also features two counter chronographs with a 60-second and a 30- accumulator located at the 6 and 3 o'clock markers of the dial. The automatic version of the BR Marine watch is perfect for professional use with a rotating unidirectional bezel and is water-resistance of up to 1,000 meters. In true dive watch fashion all the watch from the Marine watch collection are equipped with a Helium escape valve in the case in order to counteract external water pressure that could easily ravish the inner works of the delicate complications and and movements houses within the Stainless steel, carbon fiber, or 18K gold case of the Marine watch.
